What do these recurring posts consist of? They are a slide-shows made of Pinterest pictures of cool girls who embody the „elegant but fun“ aesthetic. Colourful bags, fun heels, bold prints – you name it. Fun, but they all have one thing in common: elegance.

How do they achieve elegance, while being fun – you may ask. I can tell you: By adding fun patterns and/or colours, but keeping high quality materials, by creating a perfect mix and match of high and low, luxury and street labels.

Example: You just bought that super fun colourful crochet skirt and pair it with a sleek pair of black flip-flops, a simple top and your most classic jewellery pieces – et voilà: You made your fun piece elegant!

I feel like I have been searching for my whole life and style-journey for a name for this aesthetic that isn’t clean-girl nor maximalist, but simply „elegant but fun“. I’ve always loved pairing my high quality and classic pieces with fun bracelets, necklaces and cute accessories, but always felt like it was a tight balance between cool and trashy.
